Stage Craft is happy to be back at LSA! 😁 Now booking Fall Session 2023. Stage Craft Song, Dance, & Performance Workshop Welcomes students of all levels and abilities. Day: Thursday Time: After School 3:45- 5:15 (90 mins) Duration: 10-13 weekly sessions (exact dates TBD) Price: No fee for participants All participants invited to take part in the Stage Craft’s Got Talent Show * Stage Craft’s Got Talent Show Date TBA 2 Rehearsals TBA (Spring Showcase @ Laval Junior Academy) Brief: Stage Craft lessons build children’s confidence through song, dance, and performance. In a safe, relaxed, and creative environment, students will learn to have FUN while singing! Students choose a favorite song to sing, learn simple warm-up techniques, and explore how to use the voice, body, and space to create a dynamic musical performance. These techniques will encourage the students to develop important aspects such as self-confidence, positive self-image, and body awareness. What students will do: • Prepare a show. • Learn a solo song. • Perform a group song. • Learn to dance. • Feel more confident on stage. • Perform for an audience. What students will learn: • Breathwork • Vocal warm-ups • Vocal exercises • How to project the voice • Imagination • Self-expression • Microphone technique • And SO MUCH MORE! About the teacher: Sheli Stevens, a professional singer, actor, and dancer will share with students of all levels her experience of 30 years.
